Ronald Reagan, known as the Gipper, The Great Communicator, and the Teflon President, is an iconic figure in American political, cinematic, and radio history. He will forever be remembered as the oldest president to enter the White House, the person who lead the world to the end of the Berlin Wall and Communist Russia, and it is said by some that Ronald Reagan as a president made Americans patriotic once again after the turbulent 1970s. It should be said that Ronald Reagan was one of the most influential figures in American and world history.

Before Ronald Reagan was the president of the United States during the 1980s, governor of California in the 1960s and 1970s, and an actor in the 1930s through the 1960s, he delighted audiences as a radio star. Many prominent actors got their start on the radio and the Gipper was no exception. In this collection, there is a collection of recordings from his radio career and notable speeches given during his political career such as part of his speech to Berlin when he famously stated, “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!”

Other appearances by Reagan included in this collection are Lux Radio, Bill Stern, and Suspense. Ronald Reagan passed on June 5th, 2004 and this collection serves to honor his memory.
