keep up the good work!

One sunday night when I was a little girl I happened upon a program on KEYZ Willostin North Dakota (just across the border from my home of Estevan Saskatchewan) called The golden age of radio theatre. I was so entranced by shows such as Nightbeat and Fibber Mcgee that I looked everywhere to find them, even taping them off the radio if I had to. Finding OTRCAT was a blessing. I highly reccomend THE PHIL HARRIS ALICE FAYE SHOW. it is by far my favorite.

50 years ago I was a kid listening to science fiction (Journey Into Space), and can remember the hair standing up on the back of my neck. Today the CDs arrived - I'm a first time customer - and I've settled in for many hours of nostalgic enjoyment, playing them through my Mac. Wonderful service, great product. I'll be back. And the cat sends greetings too !

More "goodies" arrived today !!YEAH!! Down loading them now into my Zen to help me get through eye surgery post-op, and then later for company on my annual 6 months sojourn on a beach in Bali.... Lifes good.

TERRIFIC STUFF. WHEN I STARTED IN RADIO IN DAYTON BACK IN THE 60 S I MET AN ANNOUNCER AND GUY WHO DID THE LOCAL KIDS TV SHOW WHO HAD WORKED ON THE OLD SHOWS IN THE 30S AND 40S IN CHICAGO. HE DESCRIBED RACING FROM ONE STATION TO ANOTHER TO DO DIFFERENT SHOWS. NEVER DID FIND OUT WHICH ONES HE MIGHT HAVE DONE THOUGH.

OTRCAT is providing a great service to those of us who love listening to radio shows and broadcasts from the past. To be able to listen to them profusely and not spend exhorbitant amounts of money was always something of a dilemma when the only choice available was between buying a CD and an audio cassette, but finding these programs produced on mp3 has been like a dream come true. OTRCAT's selection of recordings provides entertainment for a lifetime.

I HAD A LOVE AFAIR WITH OLD RADIO AND MY COLLECTION, ON TAPE, IS OVER 2500 SHOWS. I ALSO DID A SHOW OVER CSULB IN THE MID 70'S MOSTLY REGULAR STUFF...

this bring great thought of my childhood in the late 40's & early 50's. to here these programs is a real joy. all the new electrial gadgets can not replace the pictures i had formed in my mind as a child about my heroes.

What a great product OTRCAT provides, letting us revive happy memories by hearing programmes we thought were gone forever. Delivery to the UK was fast and all at a very reasonable price.

Well done, I'll order again.

It's truly amazing to see how old technology merges with the new. Old time radio and Mp3 make a great combination. I grew up during the 40's and 50s. These old shows are better than most things on TV.

Thanks for providing a way to bring back one of the best parts of my youth while keeping up the new generation. As others have pointed out, it's fun to walk down the street with an Mp3 player listening to the Lux Theater or the Lone Ranger.

Just learned about this website from a colleague at WDAY , Don Dresser (recently inducted into the MN Broadcaster's Hall of Fame) ... It's great.

Thanks for the time travel back in time!

Thanks for the super fast shipping! Your great service and reliable product is why I am a repeat customer!

I have bought several of your CDs and am so grateful I found your site. The service is wonderful. I remember listening to the radio shows when I was a child and staying with my aunt and grandfather. It brings back such great memories for me.
Thank you!

Over twenty years ago, My grandparents introduced me to OTR on cassette tapes because they loved it so much. I was immediately hooked. I had been collecting shows for many years, but, last year, when I came across your site...I was in heaven. For a fraction of what I could pay on CD, I can get whole runs of classic programs (My personal faves are Jack Benny and Fibber McGee and Molly) to enjoy. Radio was truly a "Theater Of The Mind" that more people should listen to. Television is too predictable. But, radio...it allows you to think and to enjoy. Keep up the good work in helping to preserve a good and classic piece of American Culture!
