Post a message...

I certainly am enjoying the mp3's I have gotten from you and hope to get more. You have so many good ones.I have been listening to Command Performance. They are great prgrams.A lot of the performers I am familiar with, but there are some I am not.I also have several of your Big Band series- Glenn Miller,Benny Goodman, and Spotlight on Big Bands.Great music.
One thing that has grabbed my attention is you get so much, for so little money.I am amazed you can do that.I am not even sure how I came across your website, but so glad I did.Not sure what I will order next.I like big bandsmbut I also like Burns and Allen,as well as Amos and Andy. Then there's Bing Crosby and I like Jack Benny. You have a satisfied customer in me.

Love your shows! Wanted to ask about your mascot ... I LOVE Siamese cats and yours reminds me of my seal point.

Thank you very much. Just to let all of you at OTRCAT know. I am getting these radio shows for my 93 yr old Grandmother who has recently lost her sight and is looking forward to reliving memories of her an her father listening to these shows on the radio. I work in the education field and many people say to me "oh what a rewarding job to be in". However, this is a great example of good people doing things for others outside of education, healthcare, or social work. What you are doing is benifiting my grandmothers life emensely. Thank you very much.

I live OTR. Whoops! Meant to type love but maybe what I typed is corrrect. lol I have so many radio shows from OTR. always a pleasure to order from you OTR. Thanks for the memories.hmmmmm.....who said that now? lol Happy listening! Jan...an old customer.

... Thanks, OTRCat, for making the old American shows available. One of my children subscribes to some satellilte service so he can listen to OTR in his truck.

Wow. Thanks for all of your customer service Jon. I'll be sure I recommend you to everyone. I wish you the best in business.

Jon,

Many thanks for the shows sent. I have just returned home from open heart surgery for a number of days. My daughter kept me in "fresh" radio shows. She dumps them to an MP3 player and I dose in the bed with my beloved shows. I must have listened to hundreds of them.

I also converted many of the nursing staff to listening so I hope that you get plenty of orders from the Boulder (CO) Community hospital. They all love the shows and intent to pass your web addresses along to their patients (since it is a heart unit, they see plenty of patients of the age that would remember these shows or have some memories kicked off because of the shows. I have shared your two web addresses with them and as I checked out today, one nurse (about 23 years old) told me she had listened to all 25 minutes of "A Date with Judy" yesterday.

I wanted to let you know how appreciated your work is and how it brings welcome relaxation to us folks when we really need it.

I've been a happy customer of OTRCAT since 2006, or perhaps before. Other sites offer programs via formats that give little more than an hour of listening per CD. Jon gives us so much more. I enjoy the back story on so many old programs.
I'm not a child of the 30s or 40s but the radio programs fascinate me. Listen well and one gains knowledge through history.

thanks i have purchased many old time radio shows from you just to let you know how much i appreacte your service

Jon You Are The BEST!!! I got the order right away, but I just had a chance to open it yesterday... Thank You Sooooooo Much for the OTRSampler, but you also send me Tax Time unexpectedly, and being an Accountant it put a Huge Smile on my face... So far I had only heard the Jack Benny's entitled IRS men or IRS visit or somn like that, but that CD was Awesome!!! I'm getting together my next order and will email u soon! Thanx A Million! OTRCAT fan for life, Teddy

I use OTR free downloads with my Alzheimer's Patients. I am the director of a 24 bed facility, and they all love it! I am working on a way to pipe it into the dining room during meal times. Thanks for the free downloads, and the music offered! Music is a great thing for them, and I enjoy bringing "their era" to them!

Thank you for all you do. Those of us who appreciate the nostalgic connection to radio broadcasts long gone, can only offer our delight to find a avenue to the past. You are our hero. Radio is a pure art form we have lost to time. You have restored this medium to us and we will always be in your debt.

I discovered CBS Radio Mystery Theater by accident one night on the radio when I was 16 years old and couldn't sleep one night. I have been hooked ever since though for years I could no longer find programs on the radio itself. I happily discovered your website some years ago. Even my children will listen to The Aldrige Family, Cinnamon Bear or Father Knows Best on long car trips. I put all of my old time radio programs on my iPod and listen happily while knitting. I don't knit as successfully if I am trying to watch tv (and my husband tends to monopolize the tv anyway) but old time radio is perfect entertainment for knitting as well as driving.
I am "only" 48 but a long time fan. Before he died my dad enjoyed listening to Fibber Mcgee and Molly with me and reminiscing. If you can ever get a hold of the CBS Radio Mystery Theater I would be thrilled. Also I used to listen to a program with the host Tammy Grimes but have never found it since. I would be thrilled if you found that one as well. Keep up your good work!

OTR, Reminds me when i was a small boy, My Grandfather would tell me how they used to sit around the radio, and listen to the majic of radio. When i listen to these radio shows it takes me back to a beautiful time in my childhood, sitting with my grandfather, I love and miss him very much. With the ever so changing world. I sit and listen to OTR, it always takes me back to a simpler time in my life. thanks ; Paul

I received my latest order several days ago, and Iím enthralled. Whether Iím cooking, cleaning, or just playing with my dogs, my headphones make work fun when Fibber, Miss Brooks or Amos and Andy are right there with me. We live in the country and our electricity goes out a lot, but these old radio shows keep me from getting bored. Your shipping time is amazing and Iím so thankful for you every time I put those headphones on!
