Broadcast from the "world famous ballroom" at Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Honolulu. Also known as the Pink Palace of the Pacific for its all pink exterior, The Royal Hawaiian Hotel opened it's doors in a extravagant black-tie party with over a thousand guests in 1927.
The host of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel radio show describes the lavish scenery of the hotel with mounds of flowers, coconut groves, and fresh pinapple. "Set in the gardens of old Hawaiian Kings" The Royal Hawaiian Orchestra performs for this peaceful music radio show with guests like Keeamoku Louis. A rare treat from the 1930s, that would even please Queen Lili'uokalani!
Guest stars of the series included Richard Arlen, Jobyna Ralston, Gloria Stuart, Ruth Roland, Ben Bard, Vina Delmar, Sue Carol, Betty Compson, Bebe Daniels, and Ben Lyon. Charles Frederick Lindsley played as announcer.
