First Children of the White

When a person runs for the presidency of the United States, it is not just the candidate and potential president we are looking at inside the fishbowl known as the White House. It is not just the First Lady and future First Gentlemen. We are also looking at the children of the First Couple.

Children in the White House are a fascinating breed of human being that has really been going on since Caroline and John F. Kennedy, Jr., were living in the White House. Future First Couple; particularly Bill and Hillary Clinton sought the counsel of Jackie Kennedy Onassis when raising children in the White House. Looking back, we really didn't hear too much about Chelsea Clinton for the eight years that she was living in the White House. The same could be said about Malia and Sasha Obama and Barron Trump.

Sadly, there are some like John F. Kennedy, Jr. and Maureen Reagan who left this world too early, and Beau Biden who passed away years before his father was elected President.

This collection chronicles some of the First Children that we have had including Robert Taft, Franklin D Roosevelt Jr, Margaret Truman, Caroline Kennedy, John F Kennedy, Jr, Lynda Bird Johnson, Luci Baines Johnson, Tricia Nixon Cox, Steve Ford, Susan Ford, Maureen Reagan, Patti Davis, Ron Reagan, George W Bush, Jeb Bush, Chelsea Clinton, Jenna and Barbara Bush, Malia and Sasha Obama, Donald Trump, Jr and Ivanka, Tiffany, and Eric Trump, Beau, Ashley, and Hunter Biden.

Some went on to pursue careers in the US Senate, state governorships, ambassadorships, and even the presidency itself. Some went onto careers in the media either on television, radio, and print. Some have had lucrative careers in private business and honorable positions for causes important to them.
