Halloween Scary Shows

The Haunted House Collection includes three programs from a British series titled Beyond Midnight. They have just the right tone of dread and disquiet for those of us who like scary shows. I have several of the Halloween-themed collections, and this one has become my favorite.

Outstanding collection, with some episodes of the scariest series in radio, like Suspense, Lights Out, Weird Circle, Quiet Please, Mysterious Traveler, and many more. This collection also has popular shows like Jack Benny, Father Knows Best, and Our Miss Brooks doing their Halloween shows. I highly recommend this collection, and the companion, Halloween Variety Specials for more Halloween fun...you can't go wrong with the Halloween collections here, and they are affordable for every budget!

I have 50-100 of MP3 old time radio. I still have several MP3 players that they don't make anymore. I have a converter, I guess you call, that knocks down the 120 voltage to 1.5. I plug my MP3 player into the wall and listen as I go to sleep. It keeps my head full of entertainment. I've been doing that for about 20 years or more. I even have the "thing" so I can play it in my car for long trips. You cannot legally use ear phones. With so many discs, I forget what I heard after listening to what, a thousand hours? The portable OTR player is great for when I have to do tedious tasks like paint a house.

This is a great collection! YOU might expect certain shows (Inner Sanctum, Light's Out, etc.) and some of them of there, but what makes this special is all of the lesser-known shows that introduce us to some worthy, off-beat material. Well done! Peter

a great collection of spooky goodies. Fun to listen to while you give out candy at Halloween. I really enjoyed the wide variety of shows represented.

Love this collection? Shows I know and love, shows I’ve only heard of and shows that are completely new to me. Recording quality varies as to be expected with this old recordings. This also gets listened to every year at my house, starting in September and it really helps boost the Halloween (aka my favorite season) spirit.

It would b hard 4 me to not like anything on classic radio about Halloween or scary goings on. I enjoyed this very much. Glad I purchased it.
