Nora, who was played by Charlotte Holland, Joan Tompkins and later Mary Jane Higby, was a problem solver at heart, giving sound advice for home and social life as well as the mysteries of child-rearing.

Nora Drake is directed by Arthur Hanna; Bill Cullen is the announcer. Dick York, later one of Elizabeth Montgomery's husbands on Bewitched, plays Russ McClure, the boyfriend of Grace Sargent.

Ralph Bell, who was in Yours Truly Johnny Dollar and Dimension X, also played on the show. David Gothard also appeared in Nora Drake, along with his many other shows, including Your Family and Mine, The Romance of Helen Trent, Big Sister, The O'Neills, The Right to Happiness, Pepper Young's Family, and Gangbusters.
