Calling All Cars is a classic among police dramas and one of the earliest of the genres. Believed to be a precursor to the popular police drama Dragnet, Calling All Cars portrayed the true crime stories of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Calling All Cars did not follow the work of police partners (such as Joe Friday and Ben Romeo and later Frank Smith), but rather concentrated on the crime itself and the solution methods thus the names of the police offices changed every episode.If you like the crime-fighting action of Dragnet, you will be charmed with Calling All Cars!
