In the late 1930s, musical variety shows were the staple of radio entertainment. Shows like the Bing Crosby Show and the Jimmy Durante Show provided hours and hours of good ol' fashioned, toe-tapping fun. 
The Raleigh-Kool Program followed suit. It was a revival of the old Jack Pearl Show, with Tommy Dorsey, and featured vocalists Jack Leonard and Edythe Wright, and the hilarious "Baron Munchhausen skit" by Jack Pearl and Cliff Hall.
A very notable broadcast in 1939 had Dick Powell on cornet, Bing Crosby on the drums, Ken Murray on the clarinet, and Jack Benny on the violin. Powered by regular celebrity cameos, the Raleigh-Kool Program will keep your hips moving and your foot barely touching the floor.
