Your Rhythm Review was a musical broadcast by the Sister Elizabeth Kenny Foundation and featuring Rosemary Clooney.
This lovely collection of songs was presented during the 1953 fundraising campaign of the Sister Elizabeth Kenney Foundation. Sister Kenney was an Australian Nurse and a pioneer in the treatment of the aftereffects of Polio. During the program Rosemary makes a heartfelt appeal for help in this important and courageous work.
As important as this work was, we are here to enjoy the beautiful singing of the immortal Rosemary Clooney. She is best remembered for starring opposite Bing Crosby in the movie "White Christmas".
"Rosemary Clooney has that great talent which exudes warmth and feeling in every song she sings. She's a symbol of good modern American music," according to no less authority that Frank Sinatra.
This recording from 1953, the year before the release of "White Christmas" features Rosemary's hit "Come On-a My House", which was originally recorded in association with Mitch Miller.
