Gildersleeve opening presentsMarjorie and smart aleck "Leee-roooy!" give Uncle Mort a hard time before he goes Christmas shopping.  Even housekeeper Birdie has her holiday shopping finished early.  Marjorie dresses up Gildersleeve like Santa Claus, but he doesn't need padding.  Geee-heee—ho-ho-ho! 

Will the Great Gildersleeve be able to beat the crowds to get Leroy a model airplane?  Will he be able to bribe the Mall Santa Claus?

    Listening to the old Gildersleeve of the mid 40s and the sponsor is Parkay. In my dim memory of a time before that I seem to remember as a young kid seeing an ad for that product in the paper or a magazine where it is spelled "Par Que'".

    I just ordered the updated Gildersleeve set. I listened as a kid in the 50's and remember when they took it off the air. Then there was a big fuss when Kraft brought it back for a few more years. It's such a great show with heart and fun being character driven, not just situations strewn in front of the character to be overcome. But you know all that. Also, what a great computer program you have that keeps such good track of the purchase history of your clients Thank you very much for hours of entertainment. With best wishes.
