True Short Stories of Famous Figures (1947)
Knox Manning takes you on "a brief journey behind the scenes. In each show, Manning tells well-written stories about Pocahontas, Will Rogers, Mr. Woolworth, and others. Though only about four minutes long, this program offered short but strong stories about the lives of individuals. The show highlights the strange real life stories behind famous books and history. Each segment gives interesting little-known facts about famous figures, and puts a new light on those you thought you knew so well!
