The year 1936 saw many firsts: the Hindenburg launch, first baseball hall of fame class, and Billboard magazine published its first music hit parade. In the Name of the Law made its radio debut at the same time.

In the Name of the Law was a police dramatization. Based on real police cases from around the country, the shows follow the case through to the end from murder to theft. The writers use their vivid imaginations to provide interesting dialog to move the story along and provide drama.
