Bess Johnson plays a heroine of the same name, a caseworker at Hilltop House orphanage. Johnson caught the eye of the producers of Wayne King's broadcasts when she played Laydy Esther in commercials for the show. They then created a character of the same name for Hilltop House. This was the first show that Palmolive sponsored, introducing them into the world of daytime soap and drama.

    I appreciate small businesses, and people doing their own thing, I wish I could spend more, hopefully I will be able to soon, in the mean time, I'll enjoy the Sci-Fi that I bought, I LOVE classic Sci-Fi, when it was often more intelligent and thought provoking than some of the Sci-Fi today. OOOH and the pulp heroes too, The Green Hornet is next on my list I think. Really, the point of all this is, I just want to say thanks!
