The Wayside Theater features romantic comedy tales which allow you a vacation of the mind.  Each episode is unique tale of love and mishap in the most unusual of locals like Mexico, a taxi cab, and even night school. 

1. Newlyweds entertain a health-conscious, apple-eating boss; however, the new wifey wants to make heavy meat and potatoes.
2. An American woman in Mexico falls in love with a horse thief.
3. A medieval tale with maidens, chivalry, and romance
4. Opposites attract as a cab driver and a high society dame develop a hankering for each other.

The Chicago Motor Club, which later became the American Automobile Association (AAA), sponsored The Wayside Theater.  Advertisements feature promoting automobile safety and a free booklet about car ownership. Verne Smith serves as the announcer.
