Clinton Radio The show revolved around the lives of Ben and Liz Marriot, and the lives of their children, Pete and Emily. Liz and Ben, played by stage notables Jessica Tandy and Hume Cronyn, were the epitome of urbane sophistication, cultured in the theatre, fine arts, fine literature, and philosophy.

Liz was a buyer for a prominent and popular New York City department store before she met Ben, an up-and-coming hotshot lawyer from New York, and now she has to adjust to being just a house wife. The show was always narrated by different characters, usually giving the show a fresh look on the lives of the Marriots.
