Linda's First Love follows the classic story of a society man who falls in love with a common girl. Starring Arline Blackburn as Linda, the shop girl thrust into a rags to riches story as she tries to adjust to life with her new wealthy husband and his family.
Though Linda's First Love appears to be an archetypal soap opera old time radio show, it varied from the soap genre as listeners were asked to send plot ideas. Writers adjusted the plot of the serial to incorporate good plot twist ideas from fans.
