How to Clean a CD

• To clean an audio CD or MP3 CD, use a soft dry cloth that produces no lint.
• Clean bottom side of the CD with straight strokes from the CD center to the outer rim only. Never use circular movements.
• For stubborn dirt, use a solution of water with a little bit of detergent, wring out the cloth and clean the CD as described above. Use another dry cloth to dry. Don't use cleaning liquids other than mild dish detergent or you might irreperably damage the CD.

Don't forget about cleaning your cd player lens too. For years of long life, do not store your cds in direct sunlight and away from temperature extremes and humidity.
