"The married life of Ethel and Albert are pretty much the same as the lives of other married couples. Nobody gets blackmailed, nobody gets kidnapped, nobody gets murdered, nobody even wins the jackpot. In other words, life goes on for Ethel and Albert the same old way. It has its brighter moments of course, when someone lets the tub run over, or there is a mosquito in the room at two in the morning. But life isn't what you'd call really exciting, in fact, life is so simple. Thus begins the show of Ethel and Albert, also known as The Private Lives of Ethel and Albert.
Ethel and Albert are a young married couple. Their show is based on small hilarities of daily life, including a humor filled duck hunt and a disastrous dining experience. Ethel and Albert Arbuckle (played by Alan Bunce), along with Aunt Eva (Margaret Hamilton, also known as the Wicked Witch of the West from the 1939 movie Wizard of Oz) star in our beloved comedy set in the small town of Sandy Harbor.
Ethel and Albert went on to have their own TV show from 1953-1956.
