Cap't Stubby & Buccaneers with Tiny, Sonny, Tony, and Jerry play music that's "sweet", "fast", and "quiet and restful", but all of the tunes have a feel good feelin'.   Announcer Jack Stillwell Cap't Stubby & Buccaneers sound similar to a barbershop quartet with first-rate harmonies and style.  Such as the tunes include:

Although, this song doesn't sound like it naturally flies from a man named Captain Stubby (or a buccaneer for that matter).  Being from Indiana, the group was originally named Six Hoosiers and in 1940 their home station, WDAN held a contest to rename the group for a $100 prize.  The winning name was Captain Stubby & Buccaneers.  In 1944, the gang joined the Entertainment Division of the US Navy and entertained troops overseas.

Captain Stubby's real name is Tom Fouts and he later joined the performed on National Barn Dance and Don McNeill's Breakfast Club.
