In 1963 Ms. White married Quiz Show host Allen Ludden. The couple met when she appeared as a Guest Contestant in his television program, Password. They remained married until his death in 1981.
Betty White soon made the transition to television hosting game shows and making appearances on television shows. White was popular in the 1980s with hit television show "The Golden Girls." In recent years Betty White has had a career resurgence, acting in commercials and making guest appearances on popular television shows.
