Each program begins with a teaser for a mystery product to be revealed at the end of the show, “12 minutes of waiting now may mean a lifetime of comfort – listen for it at the end of the program.”Stories vary from tales of a mysterious fast-driving woman wanting to rent a cabin in the Wild West of 1933, to an almost perfect crime where police had been collecting circumstantial evidence for weeks. We join the unsuspecting suspect in his room as the circle of police enclosing around him. Another tale is told of a terrifying drama about what would happen if a comet or meteor hit the earth, a gigantic mass of stone and mineral, with a roar that can hear over 100 miles, tearing through the skies and annihilating all objects in its path, then hurtling back into space. Radio and telegraphs are terrorized at their impending fate!!! Slip off the edge of your chair and tune your dial to American Weekly, it’s a new and different story every week!
