Drama, Film Adaptations (1938)
Created as a forum to introduce new and upcoming stars, Warner Brothers Academy Theater had a short and glorious run during the spring and summer of 1938.
All actors on the program were part of Warner Brother's soon-to-be-stars-studded "Academy of Acting."
Each week consisted of a dramatic film adapted to radio. After each program the sponsor plugs their product (your graduate would love a new Gruen Watch!) and stars such as Ronald Reagan and Carole Landis chat up a storm.
