Moral-Themed Dramas (1955)
Rotary Golden Theater was an interesting and unique program created by Rotary International Club to celebrate its 50th anniversary. It consisted of thirteen programs, fifteen minutes each, that were broadcast from March 1st through 18th in 1955. The programs were distributed to local Rotary Clubs, and were then broadcast on their local stations. In addition, thirteen discussion scripts were distributed with the programs, which were to be for follow-up broadcasts. The Rotary Club played a role in the show. Shows consisted of stories such as youth-gone-bad that were then rehabilitated by Rotary Club members. Each show had a strong moral message.
This collection includes the complete set of thirteen broadcasts, plus copies of the thirteen discussion scripts. So get our your Rotary Club pin, get inspired from this program, go out, and do good!
