The editor of the magazine, Edward Baumer, hand selected these fine stories to be recreated on radio in dramatic form.

At the opening of each program, Baumer introduces each fascinating story and tells a little about its author. Stories range from war tales, to tales of the Orient, to tales of an Illinois wife living on a mountain top near the equator in the tropics.

Each story is engaging, lively and vivid, and gives us a glimpse into the world of 1930s housewifical fantasies.
