In this publicity stunt, Gracie campaigned to get an opportunity for "sugar throat" (George Burns) to sing on the radio (as he never gets to finish a song on his own show).
This collection of recordings include Gracie's guest and surprise appearances in various variety and comedy old time radio shows.
In Philco Summer Hour, she appears to convince Bing Crosby to make a record with "Sugar Throat" and tells the audience "this isn't real life; it's a transcription!" On Life with Luigi, Gracie thinks "Sugar Throat" would make a better singer than guest star, Mario Lanza.
Her other suprise appearances include episodes from Kraft Music Hall, Aldrich Family, Escape, Jack Benny Show, Philip Marlowe, and Suspense.
