 Dreadful John at Midnight is a horror/suspense radio show though it is not a traditional old-time radio show. Instead of using a script and actors, the host simply reads short stories by authors like Edgar Allen Poe and Ambrose Bierce.
The show broadcast from 1963 to 1967 on WKCR. At the end of each show, the host attributed the shows production to King's Crown Radio.
