Courtroom Drama!Consider Your Verdict was a unique courtroom drama serial. Each episode took place in a courtroom and the listening audience was the jury. The program ran almost thirty years, and was so successful because it was such a believable program. This was in part because actors were given brief outlines of the their character and the plot, and then ad-libbed as they were asked questions by scripted lawyers. Characters sometimes paused and stumbled over their answers, making the program seem very realistic. Taking place four days a week, with a recap on Sundays, this program had a real following.
