Better Living Radio Theater was a broadcast presented by the electric companies public information program. The show presented the dramatized stories of people who made life better for most people or invented something that saved lives. The drama "Milk for Millions" presented the story of Gail Borden and how he came up with a way to condense milk for long-term, safe storage.
At the end of the dramatization, a captain of industry provided a narrative about how electricity played an integral part in building the industry and the nation.As the motto says, the show is about "How Americans living in a free nation have worked to bring you better living today."
Appearing in 1953, the series aired for nine episodes. The well-known announcer, Wendell Niles starred as narrator and announcer for the show.
