All aboard!  The Lockharts are going abroad for a vacation for two on a ship to Europe.   It's a travel serial that takes listeners on a journey to new worlds but unlike the high adventure serial, the Lockharts adventure is a bit more pedestrian.  The fun is in the husband-wife rapport and the back and forth between two very different personalities. 

This original serial from 1932 is an interesting look at how Americans went on vacation in the 1930s.  It also is a good example of 1930 American's world view as the Lockharts visit multiple countries on their tour and meet a wide variety of people.   Join the Lockharts as they travel to London to Paris to Rome and back home.
